“Merito Group chose to support the local Tysons and Fairfax County Community by organizing as a drop-off point for donations to the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library,” stated Megan Walston, HR and Office Manager of Merito Group.
In collaboration with many other local businesses, we would like to thank the support and help of Aravenda Consignment Software, Biopharma Global, Fox 5, Internews, and DC Brau.
“We appreciated the outpouring of generosity and are happy to be making the donations”, said Carolyn Thompson, Managing Principal of Merito Group.
The public was encouraged to bring new or gently used books and DVDs from August 1st to August 26th to the company’s headquarters and other locations around the DMV.
The book drive collected 137 books and 8 DVDs. On September 6th – “National Read a Book Day”, all items donated by the public were delivered to the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library.
